Greetings,
we had to close down the old store of Blisswood in the fall of 2010. I was quite saddened to do it, but the owner of the sim had decided to let the land go. It was a sign of the times, as people tightened their fiscal belts for the wild downward spiral of the 'Great Recession'. Blisswood closed its doors on Friday, September 24th, 2010.
Now I must add that Rosewood was closed in early 2014. I currently have the main shop at Mieville. It's listed in my picks.
While I loved having a main store, the real world economy and Second Life shifting landscape made it more prudent to shut down the main store and move to a smaller shop. It is simply a fact of life that it is easier in Second Life to do a quick purchase off of Marketplace than to go to a store. There are some designers who refuse to use Marketplace, but I'm not one of them! So, any item you see on my blog is also up on Marketplace, though always released first in my store. The store also has freebies scattered around it. Those never go up on Marketplace!
