New Year and New Items!

Greetings!

What an agonizingly cold start to the year we've had.  In my neck of the woods, it's been as low as -25 degrees Fahrenheit on a couple of mornings.  Add in the wind chills and we're talking -50 degrees or so.  I'm not the only person in the US to suffer such winter indignities and there is some solace in that!

It's the time of year when I withdraw to my office, clean off my desk, and look into Second Life for some virtual sunshine.  That also means new items to release and new directions to go.  Traditionally for me, January is when I start new things and reconsider old ones.  This year, I've decided to start a men's wear line in Second Life, called Curious Tailor.  It is for vintage era men's wear, and I'll be starting in the 1920s.  Look for the first releases in that line in February.

Now for the new stuff!  Five new gowns, Regency to late Victorian.  I do hope you see something in here you'd like to wear!  All items are up on Curious Seamstress on Marketplace  Also, I've been remiss and did not put up items from December that are also on Marketplace.  I was distracted by the holidays!  Do forgive me, and here we go!  I'll start with the 4 December lovelies first.

Now for January!

My first real try at Regency gowns

A lovely mid Victorian gown

This one was done in December, can you tell?

This is probably my favorite of the gowns.  There is no mesh anything, but it is an elegant, timeless piece from 1900.  It is technically still Victorian, though I don't think any lady would have issues wearing it five years later!

Those are my current offerings.  Again, you can find these either up on Marketplace or in Second Life at my home store of Rosewood, which is a pick in my profile.

Happy New Year!

Cordially yours,
Kembri Tomsen
